I am a U.S. Army veteran and photojournalist with a background in Signals Intelligence. Serving alongside the National Security Agency (NSA) in Texas and South Korea, I developed a foundation in technical precision and observation that now informs my visual storytelling.
Following my military service, I transitioned into journalism, earning a Bachelor's in Journalism (Minor in Spanish) from CSU Long Beach (2021) and a Master’s in Journalism with a focus on documentary photography from UC Berkeley (2026). My early work for The Long Beach Current was recognized with three first-place awards from California college media associations, and I have since served as the Photo Editor for the Signal Tribune.
Now a freelance specialist in still and drone photography, my work has been featured by premier global and local outlets, including The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, The San Francisco Chronicle, The Markup, SF Gate, The San Francisco Public Press, AfroLA News, The Long Beach Post, The Oaklandside, Berkeleyside, Richmondside, CBS Evening News, HBO, BET, The City of Long Beach, UC Berkeley, documentary films, and book covers.
